Hocus Pocus (1993)

Young Frankenstein (1974)

An American grandson of the infamous scientist, struggling to prove that he is not as insane as people believe, is invited to Transylvania, where he discovers the process that reanimates a dead body.

Practical Magic (1988)

This wry, comic romantic tale follows the Owens sisters, Sally and Gillian, as they struggle to use their hereditary gift for practical magic to overcome the obstacles in discovering true love.

The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)

Jack Skellington, the pumpkin king of Halloween Town, is bored with doing the same thing every year for Halloween. One day he stumbles into Christmas Town, and is so taken with the idea of Christmas that he tries to get the resident bats, ghouls, and goblins of Halloween Town to help him put on Christmas instead of Halloween — but alas, they can't get it quite right.

The Children of the Corn (2009)

Based on the short story by Stephen King, this 2009 remake of the original 1984 movie is terrifying. A cult of children live in a corn field in a small town in Nebraska and worship a demonic entity referred to as “He Who Walks Beyond the Rows” to whom they sacrifice adults in return for a bountiful harvest.
