Compliment yourself.

Self care is important to any endeavor, and before you can start appreciating things around you, you have to appreciate the most important thing in your life: yourself! Be proud of the accomplishments you have achieved recently. Look in the mirror and appreciate how good you look. You deserve it.

Write a letter to a friend.

Sometimes a heartfelt note can be the best gift to someone. Write a letter to a friend or family, and just tell them how much you love and appreciate them. Letting someone know that you’re thinking of them and took the time to hand write them something will undoubtedly brighten their day.

Practice gratitude every day.

Being grateful for the little things in life will make you a happier and healthier person. How cool is it that the sun rose this morning? And isn’t it awesome that you get to see family or friends today? Your positive vibes will be contagious and those around you will start to feel happier and more loved along with you.
